Sheddington received a request to refurbish a memorial bench, Scarlett's Bench, at Ivy Tree Nursery in Hampton.

 

The bench had been battling against the weather and was in a somewhat sad state.

 

It was taken to the shed and stripped and repaired. The carpentry repair was undertaken by Simon, Arthur, Roger and Ian. Vicky helped with the initial repainting and the final coat was done by Scarlett's family themselves, which was a special moment for all involved. The bench is now looking cheerful and happy again :)
