Supporting Sheddington

Sheddington has come a long way since it began, thanks in large part to the commitment and generosity of a small group of volunteers. In the last year, in particular, despite the restrictions imposed by the pandemic, there have been exciting developments and the group is now poised to open a new much larger workspace with room to welcome more visitors once the rules allow.

We have been applying for grants to help fund the conversion and equipping on the new workspace, but will need to cover the increased running costs ourselves. How that is organised is yet to be decided, but in the meantime here are a number of ways in which you can support Sheddington at  little or no cost to yourself. Read on for more information!

I suspect that all of us are doing more shopping online this days and an easy no-cost way to generate funds for Sheddington is to do it through easyfundraising. Just click on the link or the image above to go to the site and select Sheddington as your chosen cause. From here you can find thousands of online retailers, including big names like John Lewis, eBay, Argos Apple and Boots, and as long as you go though the easyfundraising page the retailers will donate a proportion of what you spend to Sheddington.

Get Lucky Local is a lottery run by the Royal Borough of Richmond upon Thames to benefit local causes. So if you're tempted to buy a ticket, why not support Sheddington at the same time? Just enter our name when prompted and we will get a share of the proceeds.

Or Just Donate

Of course if you would simply like to donate to Sheddington you can do so by clicking here, which will take you to our PayPal page and where you can opt to add Gift Aid if you are a taxpayer. Please remember to add your name so we can acknowledge any donations, for which we are of course immensely grateful!
