When squirrels took a liking to the top bars of Valerie’s rose arch, it looked like the end of a beloved garden feature. Great chunks of wood had been gnawed away, leaving the arch damaged and fragile.
Thankfully, Valerie knew just where to turn.
She arrived at Sheddington with some new timber and one of the broken pieces in hand. In no time at all, our skilled volunteers and well-equipped workshop turned that hopeful bundle of wood into beautifully crafted replacements. New bars were cut to size, shaped with care, and prepared for treatment—all thanks to the precision of our machinery and the experience of those who love to lend a hand.
The result? A fully restored arch and one very happy gardener.
